Mr. and Mrs. Ben F. Hurst announce the marriage of their daughter, Anna, to Mr. Ebre S. Vaughn on Monday, June 29, 1936, Shelbyville.”
"Bogie-Gillespie
The marriage of Miss Edith Bogie, daughter of Mrs. Brutus Bogie of Richmond, and Mr. Harry Gillespie of Tazwell, Va. was solemnized Saturday, July 4, 1936, at the Methodist parsonage."
"Noland-Jett
Miss Jalie Noland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Noland of Rosedale, and Mr. Beach Jett of Winchester were married Sunday, July 19, 1936, and left on a -honeymoon to Canada, Niagara Falls and New York."
